94% of all Isle of Wedmore residents - regardless of village - want Wedmore Village Hall to continue; a great vote of confidence for this important local resource. Of these, 69% would like any financial shortfall funded by local fundraising activities; 55% think Sedgemoor DC should fund it; 46% would like commercial sponsorship; and 26% would accept an increase in their Parish Council Tax to pay for it. Respondents were able to nominate more than one funding preference.
Ten people, 1.2% of our sample of 795, had other comments/suggestions to make about Wedmore Village Hall, of which 4 people (0.5%) think that Wedmore needs a new village hall - although none of them said why.
