Yes, you have not misread this and it is not a
misprint!!! The Club's Spring Revue production Wedmore in Bloomers will
burst into flower on April 23th - 25th in Wedmore Village Hall. Rude,
funny, scurrilous, riotous, risqué and side splitting humour - it will be
all this in equal measure. Three nights to banish the depression of
Recession and the crisis of the Credit Crunch and lose yourself in the
mirror of life that is Revue. Definitely a date for your diary and not to
be missed. |
The Finale will be something to behold! A riot of colour, song, dance, flowers, costumes, laughter - oh yes - and, of course, BLOOMERS! |
Beforehand though....For those Members and Friends who might wish to be involved in the Revue in whatever capacity, please all come along to our Revue Get Together on Tuesday 17th February in the Village Hall at 8 pm. Whether you would like to act, or have any sketch material - long, short, continuity, songs, running gags or you have any ideas or jokes that would make good sketches, please bring them along. If you would like to help back stage - stage management, front of house, bar, lighting etc we would like to hear from you. We would stress this is not an Audition, but just an opportunity to register your interest and find out how you can become involved. After lots of feedback we plan to bring back our Saturday night meal - nothing fancy - but a nice filling cheese and ham Ploughmans supper to round off the evening. Tickets will be reasonably priced between £5 and £7 with concessions on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday the tickets will be £10 for everyone which includes the light supper. | |||||||||
